Morning coffee discussion at the CSRS

Core programs at the centre include the fellowship program for visiting scholars (pictured above at one of the centre's daily "coffee discussions"), five different public lecture and seminar series, the Friends of the Centre and the library support program. The centre sponsor sponsors a number of targeted fundraising campaigns and is home to the UVic contingent of the Middle East and Islamic Studies Consortium (MEICON-BC), an organization dedicated to enhancing cooperation among Islamic studies scholars in the Pacific Northwest region.
